Dior Addict Extreme 866 Paparazzi
Dior Addict Extremes, my new obsession. I wasn’t expecting much of a difference to Dior Addicts but there is a huge difference. One of the more important aspects that made me fell in love with Addict Extremes – the texture. Smooth, balmy (almost waxy but in a good way) feeling, it glides on like a moistuizing lip balm.
The packaging is pretty and there isn’t much of a difference to the standard Addicts, deep blue synthetic material with silver accents. What I like about Dior’s packaging, it is lightweight, that means I can carry it arround without having the feel of hoarding stones in my purse.
The staying power is kinda long-lasting for a balmy lipstick (about two hours, leaving a soft berry red stain on my lips). There is no smudging (like with Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Voluptes, where I need to work the lipstick in, layer, blot, etc.) or moving while eating or drinking. It will transfer a bit to the cup (but honestly, I don’t think there is a lipstick that won’t). The colour is very interesting, not a standard red, not a berry, something in between with a soft warmness to it. It goes on lighter than it looks in the bullet. The formulation is semi sheer but buildable to opaque, with a soft glossy film. Once it sets, it tends to look more velvet-like with a waxy, lightcatching finish. It is not sticky but still lasts long, my new favourite lipstick formula.
I used three layers for my arm swatch. The finish isn’t too glossy, just right for adding a nice healthy touch to your lips. The colour looks different on my arm (more res) and on my lips (more berry). I think you can see the waxy film it leaves (it feels very pleasant once applied, not heavy).
It was a lot of fun to play a bit with my lip swatch picture, I will do more of such pictures in future for sure (hopefully with a better cam, mine is so old and makes a lot of pictures grainy). I think it is a bit more interesting to look at something like my first picture (experiment?) than always my product picture – swatch posts. Dior is my new discovered love this year, I have a bunch of products that will be reviewed and swatched soon. I also have some ideas (some posts will be theme organized with more than just product pics). Stay tuned for more Dior.

I wish my lipline would be more defined. The Addict Extremes are just perfect. Black Tie is a really wearable deep shade as well 
Paparazzi is beautiful! I will need to check this out in person. I love the Dior Extreme Addict formula, the finish is so pretty and it looks fantastic on your swatches.

I am so glad Dior launched new lipsticks, they are perfect, I just wish they had more colours. Paparazzi is such a pretty shade, too bad it doesn’t get more love (like lucky, which is also nice).

I think the classy, simple design is just more ‘me’. If there is a lipstick brand I highly recommend it is Dior (Addict Extremes and the new Dior nude lippies), they are also fool-proof and I don’t need a mirror, even with the bolder shades. I also really like how lightweight the packaging is.
You were the one who told me that they are awesome, so this is not a completely new obsession:P Now I have 4 of those (Lucky, Plaza, Riviera and Fireoworks), definitely need more:)

and I love them but I wasn’t into the whole brand Dior, iykwim. They changed their e/s texture and have released some awesome nail polish colours (ok, I was a fan before as well), their collections seem to be very well elaborated AND that is, what made me love the whole brand, not only one or two products (aka AE and nail polishes). The new spring blush also seems like a nice colour. Keep up with the good work Dior and please don’t make frosty e/s anymore! Oh and I like the new nude powder, great for touch-ups.
Strangely, I haven’t tried these yet, but I’ve had my eye on this particular shade for a while. I think I might have to take the plunge now…

I like, that it can go from sheer (healthy lip colour) to bold and shiny finish, it also won’t look over the top for daytime (depends where you are of course). It’s in my purse when I go to university, along with Dior swan and (if I remeber to take it with me) Dior nude powder foundation).
This is seriously, seriously stunning–I am a HUGE fan of balmy lipsticks like this and won’t wear any other kind, really. The color is beautiful for fall/winter, too! I must have this!!

I like balmy (and I wish YSL RV would be more balmy than slippery, they have some amazing shades in their collection). Dior Addict Extremes are just right: not too waxy, balmy, never slippery and they won’t melt (happend to me before with one Guerlain Rouge Automatique). I also like Black Tie and all the red in this line, I want more … Dior! <3
DIOR!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love their lipsticks (and most of their products so I’m biased) so whatever shade you get is an absolute yes from me. LOL!

I really like the reds and vamps in their line. Dior Swan is a great pink nude, the only ‘light’ colour I own from Dior but I want moar!!

Ahh I love this one! I really like the Addict Extremes as well. When they first came out I hadn’t got into vampier shades yet, but now I’m all over them so I’ll check this one out!
