Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-Lasting Cream Eyeshadow Batiste Grayling
Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-Lasting Cream Eyeshadow Batiste Grayling – satin wash of cool, true medium grey, buildable to darker, more opaque and metallic hue of the same colour. The texture is almost moussey, feeling like a creamy satin and that is how it sets as well, with a non-drying finish, leaving some soft light reflecting shimmer behind (I have dry lids, this cream eyeshadow won’t accentuate any dryness nor my skin texture). This formulation gives me enough time to blend or build the colour to the opacity I like, there is no smudging or budging either. The staying power is all day on me, without any fading (and the shimmer won’t move all over your face). I use it as a base as well, it isn’t sticky but still gives my Shu Uemura Glitters enough hold to show up more opaque, dense. Compared to Kose Addiction Eye Lacquer, Batiste Grayling isn’t wet feeling nor looking, takes a wee bit more time to set (but it won’t set as dry-looking as Addiction’s Eye Lacquer) but still is more blendable due to the creamy mousse texture. It won’t leave any patches on your eye (which can happen with Addiction Eye Lacquer if you won’t blend immediately after you have applied the product).
The fuzzy picture (blended)Β shows the different kind of shimmer this cream eyeshadow has. I applied my swatch with the fuzzy doe-foot applicator (feels very nice on the skin and picks up enough product for both of my eyes) but I prefer to use those RBR cream eyeshadows with my Shu Uemura brush (natural brush 10), dab a bit on the back of my hand and pick it up with my brush, dab it on my lid and blend it out (also great for your under eye area).

Overall, I would say, that if you haven’t liked a cream eyeshadow till now, you should try RBR. They blend nice, set with an even finish and won’t accentuate dry eye lids.
Wow this one is lovely–it’s so rich and creamy but sets to a nice, delicate finish! I HAVE to get my hands on one of these~!! π
They also have some nice lighter shades π I hope you will like them! xxx
I love the shade so much, it’s so soft looking with that sophistication that RBR eye shadows seems to have. Looks like I need to add these to my wishlist because it sounds amazing! I wonder how they perform on oilier eye lids though, some cream products tend to crease. These sound better because you mention they set really well, so yay!
They really are amazing! I have no idea how they will perform on oilier lids but once they set, they won’t move. They are so creamy as well, hope you will like them π xxx
I have yet to try RBR, but I’ve decided to put myself on yet another ban starting March… and I’m not going to go on a purchasing frenzy these 2 weeks. LOL! The RBR es sounds good though. I’ve been reading lots about their e/s formula, and I know I’ll get to it one day π
The eyeshadows are amazing, the formulation is so creamy and pigmented and the shades are kinda unique as well, you have to get at least one π As for the cream eyeshadow, if you like creams per se, they are worth trying out π xxx
OH NO YOU DIDN’T! Don’t make my Zuneta wish list even longer! I know that quite some time ago Zuneta offered this as GWP with RBR purchases, but I didn’t manage to snatch it before it was out of stock! Uh well. Glad to hear the formula works so well for you! I need to look into the shades now π
haha π I am addicted to RBR I also like their short stories behind each product, that I call … perfection! I also like the lighter shades, Zuneta is dangerous, so many lemmings there! π
I think I am about the only one that is gonna say this, but I actually don’t like this one. Mainly because of the applicator, I think, because I do love cream eyeshadow! My favorite cream eyeshadow is Shiseido’s Shimmering Cream Eye Color.
I totally can undestand this problem π My favourite cream eyeshadows are Shiseido, Chanel and well RBR. The RBR one is totally different in texture though, I think that’s what makes this cream eyeshadow interesting xxx
I need to try RBR.. Badly! I love this shade, is smokey and sultry and performance sounds amazing!
You have to check out their eyeshadows as well, this brand is just amazing π
I usually do not like cream shadow, but maybe I would like this beautiful gray one! thanks for sharing π
I actually like cream eyeshadows but it is so hard to find a really good one, this grey shade I could use everyday, for a soft smokey eye or just wash of colour xxx
Hi Claire, I love a good grey and batiste grayling looks beautiful!
Hi Dovey, it is a beautiful grey shade, looks great sheered out as well π
huh this is so interesting!! looks like a gorgeous product! π
it is, I really like non-drying cream products, be it on my face in general or e/s. I like that it is different from Shiseido and Chanel, my 2 most loved cream e/s in a pot π
