RMS Beauty Seduce
RMS Beauty Cream Eyeshadow Seduce is a medium toned bronzey moss-green, with golden, green and copper shimmer. It has a soft warm, bronzed olive hue and a rather yellowish undertone. The texture differs, depending on the weather (due to the main ingredient coconut oil) it feels more creamy or solid in touch. The colour payoff is pretty intense and you only need the tiniest amount of product for a soft wash of colour. The finish is in between sheer-glossy and satin-glossy, maybe slightly metallic on me, never matte though (I have very dry lids). The staying power is all day on me but I really have dry skin in general and don’t have a problem with creasing. All RMS Beauty products (lip2cheeks, cream eyeshadows) never really set, there is still some moisture remaining. Oilier skintones probably will have a problem with the staying power and it may smudge and fade during the day.

Depending on how much product you layer, the colour shows either more olive/mossy bronzed or golden bronzed with a very soft olive hue. The more you are going to sheer out Seduce, the more golden shimmers will show up. The light reflecting mineral pigments add a nice touch.
RMS Beauty cream eyeshadows won’t accentuate my dry eyelids, they feel so smooth and my lids are well hydrated during the day. RMS Beauty is a brand I truly love, their products are very forgiving on uber dry skin and almost feel like a treatment. This brand has become a staple in my everyday makeup routine, even on my worst skin-flakey days I don’t have to worry about how my makeup will look, I know that my skin won’t react nor look like a sea of flakes and dry skin bits.
INGREDIENTS: *Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil,*Cera Alba (Beeswax), *Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, *Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Tocopherol(non-GMO), *Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, and may contain: [+/- Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, Iron Oxides CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Mica CI 77019]
Now that’s interesting, cocnut oil as ingredient. I can see how the texture might differ in that case, especially in the summer. I loooove the shade, it looks very interesting and complexe and it’s definitely a colour I would go nuts for! ^^
I think it is a rather unusual shade, it loos very pretty once applied, quite edgy as well. Those RMS Beauty e/s never will dry out my eyelids, I love the ingredients 🙂
I love RMS! I adore the simplistic design and streamlined collection. Seduce looks beautiful. I picked up Magnetic but personally have trouble with it lasting on me 😦
RMS Beauty is such an amazing brand! I can see how even people with normal skin can have problems with the staying power. I think (well, good for me and all dry skin people) that it is very moisturizing and quite nourishing as well, have you tried to skip your eyecream? The e/s are very rich. Hope you make them work for you, Magnetic definitely is a colour many people will love xxx
This shade is calling my name! I am not too sure about the formula since my lids are normal to oily, and with my wacky little “crease” a lot of things could crease on me! Lucky you to be able to wear such a pretty color all day!
I think you will have problems with creasing, the formula is very rich, in summer those e/S feel like a very moisturizing eye cream with a tint 🙂 I am glad that a company is making something for people with dry skin though 😀 Seduce is a beautiful and complex colour, love the sparkles there xxx
I’m so curious about RMS — and Seduce looks all sorts of dream — but am convinced that it’s all sorts of slippery on my oily skin. You make a good case for it though!
If you have oily lids, those e/s will crease on you, sadly. You can try their lip2cheeks, I think modest would be a colour for you, they look uber natural xxx
I have heard that these are too slippery, but since my skin is not as oily as it once was, I’ve been thinking about RMS again. I think I want to start with their concealer, though!
They are very slippery in touch in summer (due to the hot weather – cononut oil) otherwise they feel creamy. But sadly, those won’t work on oily lids I think. The concealer is great as foundation as well, I just love this brand, the beauty oils makes my skin so soft xxx

If you suffer from dryness, RMS Beauty is the way to go, they also make a very nourishing oil ‘beauty oil’. I actually love all their products, their lip shines are great as well 🙂

OMG, that’s a colour I’d definitely go for! However, I have normal / oily lids so I know this won’t work for me.
I think you will have problems with creasing unfortunately 😦 Seduce and magentic are the colours that are more unique and complex, they looks even prettier once applied. You could check out their lip2cheeks, smile would look great on you I think xxx
Oh my that shade is just GORGEOUS! It seriously has my name written all over it. Pity I’ve got quite an oily skin, this would indeed probably crease on me after a while..

The scent doesn’t bother, I quite like it actually 😀 I think if you get the chance you should try one and see how you’ll get along with them, lunar is a pretty all over shade, great for every day xxx

Completely agree with your assessment! I just picked up Seduce and Solar, and Seduce in particular is rich and kaleidoscopic – and they’re just.so.easy. A few swipes, a few pats, and I’m done. I’ve tried wearing it several ways as my eyelids lean toward oily, but I’ve found that the best method is what RMS recommends: to apply sparingly, and with no cream or primer underneath. Doing so allows the product to remain, as you note, a soft wash of color throughout the day, and I only touch-up creases occasionally. I plan to get more in the future!

I was wearin Seduce and Lunar last week and got lots of compliments, eventhough the colours are more toned down. I think the quality is amazing. Oooh super pretty! I have very oily eyelids though so I’m not sure I will be splashing out for these. They are certainly gorgeous though and I just LOVE the philosophy behind the brand. I still do want to try their highlighter though, despite the fact that my skin will probably devour it quite quickly 😛 haha
I think that’s a sad thing for people with oily lids but their lip2cheeks, highlighter and concealer + powder will work on any skintype 🙂 Their beauty oil is ‘amazing’! It makes my skin so soft and people already commented, that my skin looks a lot better, so I think this oil is pure magic for my skin 😀 I am just in love with this brand, their philosophy, simple packaging, etc. love! xxx
I have one of these, but dang it it doesn’t last on me at all. Darn oily lids! I wish I could wear it because it’s such a gorgeous taupe!
Too bad 😦 I love RMS Beauty for not being drying but I can see how oily people can have problems, the e/s are so moisturizing, they alsmost feel like a little treatment. I think their lip2cheeks and concealer or lip shines will work way better for you though xxx

This colour is right up my alley! Maybe one way to counteract the issue of setting is just to layer the colour on in really thin coats? It would be time consuming, but from the looks of this swatch SO incredibly worth it!
Actually, even a thin layer won’t set, the ingredients are ‘pure’ and all RMS Beauty eyeshadows remain glossy. You can try to skip your eye cream though, because those eyeshadows are super moisturizing as well. Seduce is a unusual colour for sure, Karma is also nice xxx
